I have had the privilege of serving as your elected, volunteer School Board Member since 2013. During that time, I have accomplished the following in partnership with other board members, administration, teachers, staff and the community:

1. $25,569,031 in savings by refinancing $156,450,000 in debt with the same term for a lower interest rate
2. 33% reduction in debts from $302,296,574 to $202,077,910
3. a reduction in capital leases from $2,103,662 to $165,612
4. 170% increase in unrestricted state aid from $14,237,401 to $38,381,522
5. a decrease in the tax rates from 5.9498 (DuPage) and 5.9601 (Will) to 5.4967 (DuPage) and 5.4917 (Will) as of 2017
6. the sale of 25 acres of land near the Brach-Brodie property for $7 million
7. the sale of 11.08 acres of land near Country Lakes for $1.85 million
8. the near completion of adding air conditioning to all elementary schools
9. serving as Vice President of the School Board for two years
10. focusing the School Board and administration on policy with my 20 years of legal experience
11. recognition as a Master Board Member by the Illinois Association of School Boards for service to the public education community
12. acknowledgement by the Illinois Association of School Boards as being part of a School Board that practices effective governance
